Finally a game where Europeans don't have to sit up all night and then it's preseason game where there's no stream

3-0?!?!

Fiddler with the goal!

Ya Vincour's had an impressive preseason. Hopefully he gets some top 6 time in Dallas to see if he's found his scoring touch.

I'm so glad for Vincour. To end up his great performance in preseason with a goal is just perfect. He is a hard worker.

Sad that there is no coverage though.

With how well Vincours played maybe they'll keep him up, move Loui back to LW and try Vincour on Benns RW. That way Ott can go back down to the third line, but Ott seems to be playing really well as well. I don't know, seems like Dallas is really playing great this preseason, even when they ice the really weak teams.

So, if they do keep Vincour up, what do you think the lines would look like? Who would go (down to AHL or traded)?

Maybe the speculation will help the intermission to past quicker.
____

EDIT:

Morrow-Ribeiro-Ryder
Eriksson-Benn-Vincour
Ott-Fiddler-Dvorak
Wandell-Peterson-Dowell

That would be a beast of a checking line. Also, it stinks that Wandell can't be given more of an opportunity to thrive. I think he would do well, just no room. Maybe slide him onto the second line and plug Vincour in on the fourth.

Thats a real good forward core, we're so underrated lol. Thats a good top 6, and a great bottom 6. That 4th line is the best I've seen in Dallas for years.

Why? The two forwards who are out of luck there are Petersen and Barch, Barch sucks but he's the enforcer so he'll likely stay, Petersen is a run of the mill 4th liner so I wouldn't feel bad about about waiving him.

Wandell I suppose could go down for a first line role in Texas but he's good up here too.

Yea, if Vincour can step in and pot 20-25 goals, and 15-25 assists, I'll be extremely pleased, and I think we really will have one of the better forward cores in the league. Maybe even one of the best bottom 6's in the league, definitely one of the best in the conference.

I'd rather see Godard take over the enforcer role, but I doubt it happens.

Surprised we are up 4-0. Looks like will finish the preseason 6-1 and Raycroft wins the backup job after this game.

Really hope we play like this in the season.

Godard got waived early on so yeah I really doubt it. He's a better fighter than Barch no question about it but Barch is a lockeroom guy who is well liked by his teammates so it's not surprise the team favours Barch over Godard.

Godard is also on a two-way contract this year, which switches to one-way next year. Interestingly, Barch's contract expires after this season when Godard's turns into a one way. Coincidence?

It really doesn't matter a whole lot. Barch is the more talented player (Though it doesn't matter a whole lot), Godard is the better fighter, Barch is the better lockerroom guy. Barch is probably gone after this season but it's not like Godard is an upgrade. A huge upgrade at enforcer would be someone like Shawn Thornton.

Looks like St. Louis took over in the shot count in the 3rd.

4-0 Stars win.
