I went back and read the articles from 2007 when Regehr signed that deal. Was researching the cap hit and timing of the deal. His quotes were strongly in support of family reasons to stay in Calgary for that dollar amount.

3 years into that deal and with 2 years remaining... I wonder how much he's changed, if at all, in order to accept the move.

As a fan of LA, especially moving back there in a month, that's a tough pill but a fair one.

Love Richards. But I wonder about those rumors of Pronger vs Richards (ie young vs old timers).
