If losing $ and missing games isn't going to deter Malone I doubt possibly getting punched by a guy decent at fighting is going to change much. I also doubt Martin would have a goon out with Plekanec-Cammalleri, even in pre-season.

I like this game. Everything is coming down right (**** MALONE). The G is solid. The defenseman are mobile. All four lines are keeping pressure in.

In the heat of the game he knew he could. No Hab player smacked him down after he ran players all night. I don't care if Malone gets three games or ten games or a season, if our guy is injured.

Yah right, as if Malone would've fought a tough guy. Not least because he's a top-6 forward but mostly because he could just skate away.
Like Roke says, if Shanahan's suspension spree isn't going to deter him, a dude who'll try to fight him (and fail) certainly won't.
