If all goes well, I'm seeing Schroeder rise to our big team ranks next season, with Jensen helping out as either the first call-up in Chicago, or as the 13th guy who we could sit out whenever it feels like the grind is too much for him and he should take a few days off.. unless, of course, he turns into the Hulk this season hitting the gym and he becomes our Scott Glennie.
Best thing for his development is to send him down and let him get huge minutes in junior. If he were to have stuck, he'd eventually get 4th line minutes and wouldn't be able to work on his game the same. Eventually, we'd end up with a Taylor Pyatt. A guy that is serviceable in the NHL but never excels because he was rushed too early.
