Nabby hasn't looked as good as he did in Calgary. Monty was looking real good.

Yeah, Nabby just doesn't look good in this one.

From everything I've seen...Monty has been real good throughout camp. I'd love to see him take the bull by the horns and become a clear cut starter.

Solid pressure

KO FN MG line might be the real #1 line for the isles.

Yeah, Nabo looks pretty cold tonight. If GMG can get anything of value, IMO he should be traded and they should platoon Ricky and Montoya to start the season.

1-4 preseason. sounds bad, but the good news is in the 1 game where our A team played their A team, we looked pretty good.

They look ready. Can't wait for the real season to start.

I hate to overreact to preseason, but this is the path everything we've seen so far says we should take.

Nabby looks done. Personally, i didn't think he looked great vs. Calgary either.

Neither in Calgary nor here did I get the impression that Nabokov is anywhere close to being ready to be a winning starter.

I don't know if I noticed who was playing next to JT and Moulson the entire game.

Was Bailey even in the line-up? And who was actually the winger when he was out there with Cizikas?

In general, looks like this D is gonna have its problems. They do some good things in moving forward and in the offensive zone at times, but the positioning and assignments looks far from ready to win regular season games.

Alot of overreacting going on here. The last goal Nabby should have had, I don't blame him on the others, especially the 2nd one where Pouilot was left literally all alone in front. In the Calgary game aside from his puck-handling he was very good.

Trading him would be incredibly dumb. If DP got hurt, you would have Montoya and Poulin. You don't move any of the goalies until DP proves he's going to be able to handle the work load and perform at a high level.

Relax, Nabby will be fine, and IMO, he's the best goalie we have right now.

I tell you, if this is a reflection of what's to come this team will be very exciting and dangerous. Should have won this one.

Mottau should be on the outside looking in, he's played poorly in his own zone in each game.

With solid goaltending, middle of the pack defense, and this explosive offense they'll be in the hunt for a while.

Staois-Streit
AMac-Hammer
Eaton-Jurcina

not bad.

I'd rather see Montoya starting. He came over & played his ass off last year. Nabby, on the other hand, felt he was too good for us, and is only here because Garth held him hostage. On top of this, Montoya was by far the best goalie for the Isles in these warm-ups.

Cut him lose--I won't lose sleap over it.

We haven't seen Rolston yet, his big shot from the point should be welcome on the powerplay.

I'm not too worried about Nabby...but I'm more concerned about this 3 goalie rotation. And ol' wonky legs isn't going anywhere...and it would be foolish to hold onto Nabby and waive Montoya or some nonsense like that. I dunno...a couple seasons ago, we were stuck with AHL-goalies MacDonald and Danis...now we're stuck with 3 NHL-capable goalies who likely all think they deserve to start.
