2012 draft

i am sorry i dont know where this should go but i was wondering what everyone thought the team needs are for the 2012 draft. i know its a long way from now but what are some of the early thoughts. scorer? 2 way player? defense? or just best available player?

Legitmate sniper prospect.

I would think they may go:

Rounds:
1) Offensive Player
2) D-man
3) 2-Way Forward
4) Small Forward
5) European Forward

any sniper prospects in mind that you may know of (projected mid to late first round because thats where we should finish this year)

Its too early for me to have done any sort of research into the draft. Their are far more qualified posters on here when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Griffin Reinhart.
Cody Ceci
Pontus Åberg
Martin Frk
Henrik Samuelsson

Are all players who I'm keeping an eye on. Aberg already is amongst the league leaders in SEL goal scoring.

Ferk, Firk, etc. Basically with an er sound.

I'd love to get Frk on board; or a goaltender. Honestly, the team has depth at most position when it comes to prospects and younger players on the team; it's basically 'BPA' at this juncture.

Only player I've noticed while watching some games is Matthew Dumba. VERY impressed by him. Probably will go top 5.

I think he'll end up in the top 3 by the end of the year. With Yakupov and likely Grigorenko ahead.

BPA this year in round 1 maybe even round 2 but we should be looking at goaltending after that imo
