So what's your point? Neo claimed Subban is better than Phaneuf going into this season. His (Phaneuf) rookie season is completely irrelevant. Frankly, just looking at last year, Subban is superior between them and the only hindrance for him going forward is a possible slump that may young players go through. Why Orr is brought is beyond since neither Subban nor Phaneuf are top twenty right now.

He's a #1 on the Habs and he would definately be your #1 on the Leafs.
30 teams and all have at least a #1. Name me 30 #1 d-man you would take over P.K.
One from each team please.

isnt Markov # 1 ? which makes Subban #2

P.K was our #1 from the halfway pt on to the end of the season last yr.
Markov was on injuryed reserved for the season.

so Dallas gives up Robidas,Morrow and in return gets Gunnarsson ,Bozak and a couple of 2nd rd picks. Keep dreaming.3rd liners and 3rd pairing d-man will not get you Morrow let alone they throw in Robidas.

There is a reason that Leafs fans keep trying to pawn off the same 3-4 players, because NOBODY wants them. Morrow is a great player, and to get that as a return and the even have to deal Robidas is simply laughable.

You're right. Bozak, Franson, and Gustavsson for Morrow. Bozak and Goose have been on Nieuwy's radar for 2 years

Who cares what Leaf fans are doing or what other fans want? They don't have the power to make any personnel changes on the team, so you can take the condescension elsewhere.

Cap systems don't result in "fair value", and seeing as how Toronto has been taking on salary dumps for a while now, it's about time that fans from around the league pulled their collective head out of their ass, and accepted that it's entirely plausible that another Phanouf, Lupul/Gardiner or Franson trade can occur.

Yeah because Leaf fans even came close to a proposal that was either the Phaneuf trade or Toskalol & Blake trades. If any of those trades were ever proposed on HF the backlash from either fan base would have been akin to a napalm morning in Vietnam. Yet, they happened.

It doesn't mean jack **** if you or other HF members don't see value in those players because based on past experience there are GM's that do. Contrary to what you might believe, you do not partake in any role that decides a trade and there is a good reason for that.

What's the reason then that all the Leaf haters keep saying our players are worth very little or that NOBODY wants them? Funny Calgary, Anaheim and Nashville thought our players were worth a lot. But then again I'm sure now that they are Leafs Phaneuf, Franson, Gardiner, Liles, Lupul & Aulie are ALL worth VERY little right?? Of course we did give up SOOOO much to get them, I mean the loss of Stajan, Blake, Toskala and Hagman has been devastating to the Leafs ....Some people need some serious
