Smells like a reclamation project. You can never get enough grit and the guy was a scorer in Junior. It seems that BG is really trying to improve organizational depth in that area. No doubt, he's a cheap signing and it could pay off. It could also mean one less Dallas prospect on the Hamilton roster.

Seems like BG/CJ are gonna use some kids for the NHL (Hossa, Pleck...etc), so they need a filler for the AHL. He will replace Gratton too.
