Went with JT (usual 60-min effort and holy jeebus, what a move!), but Nabby was a close second for me.

The choices should be

Tavares or The Entire Team except Rolston & Mottau. Really good team win

Everyone played really well except Rolston & Mottau.
Also, "Whichever Asst Coach kept Cappy from pulling the goalie with 3 minutes left" and "Whoever kept Cappy from putting PA back on the top line two min into the game".

Did you guys notice that the overlay showed the Islanders had an empty net with around that much time left?

Mitch

I voted Rolston because he got the big game clinching goal.

Voted Okposo. He was great tonight, creating space for his linemates and making some good plays. Not a coincidence JT and Moulson looked inspired and confident out there. I liked the performance from all the lines actually. But not getting too excited yet. Still a long season ahead.

Where's the option for Datsyuk?! He put on Tavares' jersey for a quick play that ended in a goal.

Tavares had a very good game, but then again the entire first line looked stout. My hat goes off to Nabby who made some very clutch saves that are not getting the recognition they fully deserve.

Had to throw AMac a vote. JT probably played the better game, but AMac contributed offensively (goal) as well as defensively (leading the team with 5 blocked shots).

Clearly stated winner. Next poll after the next game.
