am i the only one that thinks of the restaurant called gold rush on elliston place every time it is mentioned? All I can remember is very late nights and having to have something to eat... let's just say that those nights were when the drinking age in tennessee was 18........
It's kind of hard to decide without actually seeing the designs.

Hey, PF98, we probably knew each other then, too. Just didn't know it. Spent a few nights "eating" at Gold Rush myself at age 18.
I chose The Golden Rule. Figured that might evoke some "inside joke" sort of sayings in there. I didn't think about it before, but back around 2003, we'd have this thing about "The power of 3" and would hold up 3 fingers in the third period if we were behind in the score. A lot of times it worked! Wonder if there's a way to fit Belak (and Skrastins) into an avatar or two using "the power of 3" as the catch phrase?
SLake kindly asked me to make some avatars for you guys based on the "Gold Rush" theme you came up with.
Here's what I've got so far:
I wanted to try and put the "Gold Out" as a separate frame, but I couldn't find a good enough picture, so I just put it as the background in the frame with the player.
Any suggestions? I'm planning on making a special "Thrash to Smash" version for Thrashers fans if they want it.
If this looks good to everyone, I'll obviously make more. Just wanted to see what you guys thought in case it's crap and I spent all that time making 25 different ones.
