Guess Stamkos is going have to score 6 instead of 3 tomorrow.

I'm fine with that. No objections here.

Is it Vinnys shoulder again? Or is he just banged up bit after a physical game?

Wrist/hand. Probably a hairline fracture. Soft cast.

He's have surgery Thursday to try and save his career. He hasn't skated for a while.

I don't get how the initial procedure seemed to go so wrong.

I was reading that he had his knees cleaned out then, so are they putting that stuff back in this time?

Ok, I found an article that says his right knee responded to the first surgery, and he's going in for his left one.

I read in the Tampa Bay Times earlier this week (Sunday maybe) that they are going to put a titanium coating on the end of his femur. They compared it to the hip surgery that Tim Taylor had done.

Hoping I'm wrong but I don't think he'll be an effective player if he does come back.

He's having to have a plate put on his knee in HOPES that new cartilage will form. I honestly don't expect him to come back at all.

From what i've read of the procedure (google ftw) hes facing more of can-i-run-with-my-kids-again rather than will-I-play-hockey.

I read somewhere that at this point he's out at least 3-5 weeks.

Do we know if it's the left wrist he had surgery on before?

Cristodero is saying at least 3 weeks and Erlendsson is saying an indefinite amount of time. It's his right hand.

HEDMAN HURT: Hedman did not play the third period because of an upper-body injury. Yzerman said he did not believe it was related to the concussion that kept Hedman out of 13 games in January. "I don't expect anything good," coach Guy Boucher said. Expect a callup from AHL Norfolk.

HURTING: Lecavalier said his right hand was broken by a shot during the Feb. 18 game with the Capitals. "It's real disappointing," said Lecavalier, who has missed three games and is expected out at least three weeks. "This time of the year, you want to be part of something and be with the guys every single game. I'm going to keep training and skating every day to stay in good shape."

MORE MEDICAL MATTERS: RW Ryan Shannon was out because of a previously unrevealed upper-body injury that occurred Thursday vs. the Jets.

Is Bergeron done for the year? or is he just a healthy scratch at this point?

I have him in my hockey pool and it's killing me down the stretch...

Not sure if he's out for the year with his back injury but he's not a healthy scratch. If he were healthy he would've played today with Hedman out instead of the team recalling Oberg from the minors.
