Getting my tix tomorrow for me and my now newly converted NYI fan gf (she just moved to NY 2 months ago from Cali). Will be tailgating w my crew as our yearly home opener tradition...sooooo pumped!!!

If you goto newyorkislanders.com it says on the front page before you enter the site that there's gonna be games and prizes given out in front of the box office starting at 5:30pm.

Very cool! I'm coming from Rockland Co. NY, a little different. However, if this team ever re-located I would do the same; hit the home opener, then maybe stay a few days for remaining home games.
