if the player doesn't make the big club, then loan him back over to his European club
Better hope hes not like Sergei Shirokov though. Sergei just came over to North America too late, and never got accustomed to the speed of the NHL game. also the training regiments needed for an 82 game schedule.
It does help that Petrov is bigger overall
