There are a lot reasons to complain about JM- his system is passive, defensive and not the most exciting to watch. However, he's trying to take us into the playoffs for the third straight year. He's got a competitive team that has taken three of it's last four playoff series to seven games. In perspective, the reasons to complain just don't compare with the reasons not to.

Go Habs Go. Game on.

I woke up this morning, went for my morning piss, all tired, and then I remembered that there was REAL hockey today and I started pissing all over the walls, from happiness.

In short, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Cole on line 3, possibly.

Really don't like that. At all.

Why am I being so pessimistic? Jacques Martin. This year, there's no Kirk Muller around to mitigate this "modern-hockey-has-passed-him-by" coach. The team had trouble scoring last year *when Muller was there!* What's it going to be like this year? The sad part is that as long as he's there, he's going to continue eroding Subban's confidence to the point where a once potential superstar, will probably never achieve his potential.

Martin was a very good coach *in the old NHL* (though he never won a Cup, did he). He's a dinosaur in the new NHL. All he manages to do is be hell on young players. (I hold up Gallagher as the most recent example. Other teams allow 18 year olds to make their roster if their play merits it. Not Martin. He lets go what appeared to be an offensive threat, on an offensively-challenged team. But that's par for the course with Martin.)

My next reason (albeit a very minor one) is Carey Price. He was great last year. Is it reasonable to assume he'll be just as great this time around? What if he has an ordinary year this year, as is very possible? Even the great ones (Roy, Sawchuck, Dryden, etc.) had ordinary years. What if Price has one? I shudder to think about it.

I know I'll get flamed for this post and, as stated, I hope I'm completely wrong. Please Habs, make me look like an idiot. But I don't think so.
I'm not flaming you but I don't know what possesses people to think negatively for absolutely no reason the season hasn't even started.

Would you rather try AK with DD at centre again? I think not.

funny thing happened to me playing NHL 11. A player from my team engaged Komi for a fight and Grabovski came in to stick up for him.

I do believe Cole is on the 3rd line because DD-AK doesn't work well. Once Eller returns, Cole should play with Plek and Cammalleri.

I am more curious to find out if Emelin is really playing and who he would be replacing.

Do you check your limbs and teeth every morning to make sure you haven't lost any in your sleep? Your pessimism borders on anxiety neurosis.

We are so deep, we can afford to put Cole on our third line without making it weird.

I don't know why people complain that we have Cole on the third line. It shows great depth.

So now, Emelin will be in warm-up but shouldn't be playing.

And Engqvist called up: Betts injured.

Plus it's not like it's cemented in stone either. Will likely change real quick.

Yes because lines at practice before the season even starts are going to be your lines all year.
