Most of the games were with a bunch of minor leaguers, and we didnt see much of Weiss, Fleisch, etc. I think with the vets/leadership we have in the locker room, we should start the season much better than years past.

Dude, relax with the way you speak to people around here, especially someone like Acadmus. You are way over the top with what you THINK he was getting at.

Although preseason results were bad overall, there were some absolute flashes of brilliance, like first half of home game against lightning, rarely have they passed as crisply and attacked with so much creativity. Of course they became the team we know better in the second half of that game when they stopped skating. Point bring though the ability is there. Question is whether the desire is there.

I'm so pumped, interesting match-up on Long Island between two teams that can upset the bigger teams this season. Hoping for a good start.

Opening Night and I have to go to a surprise birthday party tonight.

Gonna have to wait till Tuesday to watch the team live, but I'll be cheering inside tonight if I see on my phone that we scored a goal.

You could surprise them by not showing up

Technically, I dont have to go because my brother picks them up, I just go for a ride. But they take their trip every year, and I always go to the airport to get them. What can I say, Im a good guy.

I will still be able to watch some of the game, just not all of it. Once I get back to their house I will put the game on, then will become a fight with my bro who will most certainly have the Devils game on. Haha.

I cant watch sports on DVR. I never could. I would watch maybe 2 or 3 minutes, then I have to go to the live game up to that point or go check the final score. I think I will DVR it though, I cant miss opening night.

What? Sports are great when you can bypass the commercials! Seriously, I've gotten into the habit of starting to watch an hour or so after it starts just for that reason. Just stay off the interwebs!

Just my luck.. As some know.. a month ago my GF of 8 years left me (still in contact) my grandpa died and now I'm moving tomorrow morning so I got no broadband untill tomorrow so now I'll miss our season opener too. I was hoping after our summer I'd start to be more optimistic about Panthers and my life.. go figure..

Well, i'm fine with the 8pm start cause i forgot i have a hockey game to play tonight at 7:15. Hopefully it all starts on time and i only miss a little bit of the first.

I've also had a super rough time cause last night i had to put my dog ( whom i've had for 14 years or so) to sleep. So i could really use a win tonight.

Let's get 'em boys.

Splitting up Weaver and Garrison? Interesting..... Wonder if this is foreshadowing.

Of course no commercials is great, I just cant watch a game if its not live. I have to watch it live because like I said, I would get 2 minutes into it, and then just have to find out the final score. The urge to check the web and scoreboard is just way too tempting. Haha.

Why should it matter who he is talking too?

Speak your mind dude, don't let these uptight posters stop you, if that's your opinion.

There is a difference between speaking your mind and jumping down someones throat irrationally.
