Anything but "Heaven Can Wait"!!! I'm leaning on Joe Satriani's, but "Hell Yeah" isn't too bad... I'm going to miss Live is Life though

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Still, having a Maiden song as the goal song wouldn't suck.

Heaven Can Wait...it just doesn't sound like a goal song.

And yeah, it is kinda silly how fans chanting 'you suck' is not appropriate...but 'hell yeah' is clean enough.

I don't like it all that much, but I'll go for Satriani. Local boy...involved in a couple charities.

I voted for crowd chant.

I know the Wild use it but he is from LI and the song is perfect for a goal song.

Everything but Heaven "can" wait is fine with me.

I've heard Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes used and it sounded awesome but we'd be unoriginal if we used that.

I thought it was really cool when the Hawks used Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis during their cup run.

I voted for Kickstart My Heart. It's the most energizing son on the list, most everyone's heard it, and it's more of a celebratory song than the others, as goals should be celebrated.

The first three had too many words and to quick a tempo. Think of 16000 people trying to blurt out those words. Many whom wont know the song will not be able to understand or follow becoming disinterested.

They'll likely only be playing the chorus'

so on the first two the fans would only be required to sing "woah" and "yeah" or "hell" and "yeah".

I know we're slow but I think we can manage that

"Heaven Can Wait" on the other hand, is completely wrong.

I'd go with the Crue.. but will kinda remind me of when I lived in Edmonton a few years back it was the song they used when coming onto the ice.. good tune though.
