After I was done mentally vomiting, I wrote the following to the Isles web staff in the comments field...

I have to be honest, all of these goal song choices are so lackluster if not horrible. All are incredibly cheesy and very disappointing. I had to vote for "Kickstart" out of sheer need, but it's like settling on Freddy Krueger to perform brain surgery on you because everyone else on the planet is dead.
Any of the following would have superior choices much more likely to fire up a crowd:
"Uprising" by Muse
"Wake Up" by Arcade Fire
"Elevation" or "Vertigo" by U2
"Swamp Thing" by The Grid
"Zombie Nation" by Kernkraft (popular already, but great)
...Almost anything by the Chemical Brothers

Rough choices. I absolutely despise "Hell Yeah." I like the Motley Crue song but it doesn't work as a goal song how I see it. Crowd chant gets my vote.
Same here, that song is terrible... I've stifled a laugh at the cheese-dripping lyrics and generic buttrock music every time I've heard it, if it becomes the goal song I might have to start bringing earplugs to the games
All four finalists were pretty terrible, but I went with Crowd Chant as the "best of the worst." It's mostly crappy whereas the other three are just off the crap-charts.

Satrianni didn't write "Crowd Chant"for the Wild. It was originally called "Party on the Enterprise" but he had to take samples out of it and renamed it "Crowd Chant"
Its works well for NYI, he is from,lives, and loves Long Island. Not sure what other songs would work better. Since majority of fans at the games can barely put 4 words together in a row.
I hope this ends it and all the fans who are more concerned over the goal song ...can now been concerned with the team we have
