F Gillies, Trevor » $625,000 UFA
F Frischmon, Trevor » $615,000 UFA
F Riendeau, Yannick » EL $613,333 RFA
F Marcinko, Tomas » $605,000 RFA
F Colliton, Jeremy » $600,000 UFA
F Backman, Sean » $525,000 RFA
F McNeely, Tyler » EL $525,000 RFA
F Romano, Tony » EL $508,333 RFA
F DiBenedetto, J. » EL $508,333 RFA

F Rakhshani, Rhett » EL $850,000 RFA
D Wishart, Ty » $803,250 RFA
G Koskinen, Mikko » EL $1,150,000RFA

There are all of the NHL contracts in the AHL that end at the end of the year.

I expect Riendeau, Colliton, DiBo, Katic, Alexandrov, Rhak, Wishart, and Koskinen to be resigned

(For convenience)

I think the following players will likely be re-signed: Koskinen, Katic, Rakhshani, Dibo and Alexandrov. I'd prefer to have someone on the roster instead of Riendeau, someone like Howes or Moullierat. Riendeau is nothing but ECHL player. If the Islanders like Riendeau they would've been playing him and he wouldn't be sitting in the ECHL.

I heard Riendeau is nothing more than a Robbie Schremp clone. Wouldn't mind if they let him go.

I agree on all accounts but think Riendeau is the 2nd coming of Tony Romano, not saying that is anything good but its a push....

Agreed. We need defensive depth and AHL veterans.

I'm able to make it to today's Bridgeport matinee, I'll be sure to give a scouting report on Mike Halmo, who is expected to make his pro debut. If the sound tigers win today they clinch a playoff birth.

Ya, i will b there.....I hope Halmo brings the things to the table that makes other teams nuts, especially playoff teams.

For the record I really want Olesky and Moulliart back...

With regaurds to Reindeau i want to see him get tendered and if he cant hack it send him to the ECHL and cut your losses, the things he can to are skate and has vision...

Halmo just threw a nice hit, then seconds later his first scrap. Persson with the 1st sound tiger goal.

What is up with Anders Nilsson and why is David Clark backing up Poulin?

Its only semantics but Persson has 3 goals, and is always around the puck. I also noticed he was not skating upright today for the first tme since he became a Tiger. I also noticed that he was skating much better today.
Wishart is god awful and had 4 awful turnovers today, he makes me long for Mark Wotton to be back.....

Halmo looked a little lost but that is to be expected only practicing with the team a short time. He also got stoned on what should have been his first pro goal.

Persson definitely has some skill and good instincts around the net. To me skating is the biggest flaw. He has plenty of time to address that. It's ok because he's not ready for the NHL anyways. It would be a big plus if he made the NHL as a role player. I'm waiting to see what comes of this, I would like to see him signed to an ELC as well as Kichton and I'd be happy.

He's got a nice touch around the net, could be very dangerous right in that area. His skating needs a lot of work, but I've seen more than I expected from him so far and that's a good sign.
