I had to try 3 different browsers(chrome, firefox, then silverlight), before getting the stream to work.

If you can't find one that works, try Sound Tigers radio broadcast or Providence Bruins radio broadcast. You'll at least catch the last period.

Damn, Landry looking like an offensive beast with that move. Nice goal.

Is there anyway I can order some kind of hockey package on Cablevision so I can watch the AHL on my tv rather than these crappy feeds?

I don't mind the UPS line, but my real opinion is that Ullstrom and Cizikas need to be playing together like they were last season.

I don't think either Persson or Sundstrom can bring enough puckskills at this point to benefit Ullstrom adequately.

The Bridgeport announcer just called them the UPS line. It's catching on.

I guess her name is Michelle.

Nice win for the Tigers. You can see the potential oozing from this team. They could be a real contender by the end of the season.

The undefeated Bridgeport Sound Tigers!

They let their foot off the gas peddle a bit after the first, but got the win. Definitely worth the trip.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at Webster Bank Arena.. Loved what I saw from niño Nelson and CDH.

Did they use kick start my heart last year as their goal song? Liked it a lot and it had vote in the isles vote las year..

I'm guess Pellerin wasn't happy with his play in game 1 and is sending an early message.

Defenseman Matt Donovan was a healthy scratch. Nathan McIver made his Bridgeport debut against his former team.

Donovan, an AHL all-rookie defenseman last year, was on the ice for two power-play goals in the team's opener Friday.

Lol, I'm wondering if NYI will stream most of BST's games this year, they should! Great way to advertise the kiddies/rebuild etc.

Was at the game last night, great to see some live hockey action. What's up with Donovan? Honestly, I was impressed with all of our prospects, most notably Nelson, Nino, CDH, and Sundstrom. Nino is where he should be.

I'm still seething over this redbull stunt, I haven't seen a dime in this mess, nor was I asked to participate in any way. Where is Johnny Cochrane during this lockout?!

In Donovan, I don't think he was particularly strong, got beat on the rush in the first period that led to a goal. I don't think he is that good defensively, reading the play and he's not very physical. Though, his skating and offensive play seems pretty good. He'll need another year in the AHL I'd say, but it was only one game. I see deHaan as a step ahead in his development and even he could use another year in the AHL.

I think all the kids could use a full year in the AHL, with the closest to NHL ready being Cizikas.
All the rest need time and the AHL is a pretty good league, especially with the lockout going on.

I'd love for that to happen...but AHL has their own GameCenter-like service called AHL Live. http://ahl.neulion.com/ahl/ I'm guessing they're probably licking their chops...just thinking about how many subscribers they can get during the lockout.

It's a bit of a ripoff too...$150 to watch one team's games...$350 to get all games. And I'm assuming it's the same quality as the games we've seen...which, blech.

Perfectly said. He looked like he regained his confidence. That power move he had to the net is what I went to keep seeing from Nino.

The AHL is right where he's supposed to be right now.
