I really hope it's some minor arm injury and NOT shoulder related. That would really be a shame. To me, CDH has been looking really good this year.

No update from the team..

One big potential downer for Bridgeport: Calvin de Haan skated off with exactly a minute to play. He was skating away from where we sit (and we’re all the way the heck up anyway), so no sense of his facial expression, but he skated off pretty hard and was waving for the trainer with, I’m pretty sure, his right hand. He has had no luck with shoulder injuries, of course, but there wasn’t any immediate update on him after the game.

DeHaan out for the season with a dislocated shoulder. Who gets his spot?

Man this sucks. DeHaan just can't catch a break. We really do not have luck with injuries.

So it's the third major shoulder injury this kid's had now? Makes you wonder if he'll ever play in the NHL or if he'll be forced into early retirement.

Even Ness can make up for this too. But wow, this is really a big blow to deHaan's development.

I don't like Nino on a line with Cizikas and McDonald..... I don't think they compliment eachother well at all. I think Nino and Kabanov showed real good chemistry together..... their games are much better suited to eachother IMO.

My guess is that they feel that Kabanov is trying to find his game, and Nino, Czikas, and McDonald are all more polished. For that reason, they would fit better together. I do agree with you, though. I liked Nino with Nelson and Kabanov.

Kabanov hurt
. Skated off holding his hand (i.e. similar position people take with dislocated shoulders).

Sitting right behind the bench, the guy in the row in front of me said he saw the bone sticking out and blood. Compound fracture probably. Not good.
Edit: sorry, it's the wrist. On my phone.
Edit again: skate sliced his wrist according to someone else.

He ended last season with an ugly ankle injury so i think he still needs a little time to be in good shape.
Any update with Kirill?

Was at the game with P Dub.
Kirill messaged me last night on Facebook @ 11:30pm. I am guessing it wasn't too serious, or he would've been in surgery by then most likely -- if it was a serious cut, he would have been taken to MGH, which is at least an hour away, which means he would not have gotten there until at least 9pm. I also think if it was more serious we would have seen blood on the ice... granted from our viewpoint we couldn't see the corner well where he fell down fighting for the puck.
Just saying.

One other thing. I didn't see Jason Clark playing. Did he make the Sound Tigers? I thought Mike Halmo was our 13th forward.

Kabanov said on twitter surgery went well. Did not say what the doctors did but he is hoping for a quick heal.
