I've been watching the Devils Flyers game and Claude Giroux looks even better than he was last year. Trading Richards and Carter is a hell of a lot easier to do when you have guys like Giroux to step up and fill their shoes.

Watching Caps/Canes. Good game. Caps go up 3-2 with under 2 minutes, and two or three shifts later the Canes tie it up.

I put my phone down for a few seconds and all of a sudden the Sens score a few. Kessel with a hatty tonight.

What a game in Toronto. Totally back in forth in the 3rd period.

That Da Costa guy is a nifty little player. Phaneuf destroyed him earlier, though.

Great game in Toronto. Too bad the Sens couldn't come all the way back.

Anyone remember that game the Ducks played against the Avs like 15 years ago, where they came down from 6-2 to tie it in the 3rd? I think Selanne or Kariya or both had like 5 points.

Also, Lupul looks really good. Happy to see him get back to form, after these last two seasons.

Simmonds has been incredible for them too. Matt Read looked great, as well as Couturier. I won't lie... I'll miss Carter, Richards, and Gagne, but in no way will I dwell on it. I love what Homer did this offseason. Love it.

Good to see the Jets back, but the broadcast was beyond a joke I can't believe how many punches they threw at the Atlanta fanbase like they are all just dumbasses or something. Stuff like 'now they have a fanbase who knows hockey', 'I bet they wouldn't even know Price's first name in Atlanta'

Disgraceful IMO, it's not like they had 0 fans that knew about hockey.

Yeah. The broadcasters were actually pissing me off, and I have no interest in Atlanta at all. It was just insulting to that area, and the fans. I couldn't believe the crap they were saying.

Curse my graveyard schedule on the weekends!

I did just remember I can sleep, and try not to look at the score when I go to the Gamecenter app on my PS3 and just watch the games from earlier.

Made myself pretty big meal, bought a beer and am loking forward to wath Wild @ Isles.

Caught myself on an idea than on healthy our team Heatley probably would fit only in 3line?

Sykora and Elias set up a pretty good play to give Parise the tap in against Carolina.

Got Carolina v NJ up with Minny v Islanders on the small screen, how I love you GCL

Wild got 2 back to back PP but no shots were made in that span.

Isles moving really well.

Surprised that their youngster Scandella playing 1st pairing minutes. He was taken 2nd round in 08 draft - where Sbisa and Gardiner were tooked in 1st round.

How`s Larson looking?

PS
Isles just scored on the PP, which is not surprise. Isles looking way much better this game. Andrew Macdonald scored when Isles made pretty big havoc in Minesta`s defensive zone.
