Larsson looks pretty composed on the backend for a young dman, some nice passes and pretty strong along the boards. Boy, he's much bigger then I thought he was, he's already pretty physically developed. Looks like he's on the 2nd pairing with Greene, 1st PP unit.

He's going to have a pretty good season, my tip for the Calder.

Great, patient play by Streit, passing the puck all the way from blueline to the net. Nielsen with wide open net makes it 2-0.

Didn't the fans/players get to pick a new one? Or is it another new one?

I have a soft spot for the Isles, they are my second favorite team. I'll stick to this one.

Larsson logs 8:26 and a +1 in the first period, nearly 2 minutes more then the next defenceman. Playing 1st PP and PK units as well. He's been pretty dman impressive.

New Jersey as a whole have played quite well, Carolina really need to shoot the puck, they play like Getzlaf so much, they just seem to go for all the pretty passes instead of shooting

I feel like I'm watching a Ducks game. So many penalties called on the Isles, Wild have had so many 5 on 3's it's ridiculous.

NJ v Carolina is pretty close, 3-2 in the 3rd, Carolina has been below par IMO

Of course Dallas ties it with 30 seconds left to make it a 3 point game

Tampa v Caps was pretty good, Vokoun must of set a record for most goals considered beyond the icing line in 1 game, beaten from behind his goal 3 times

Didn't know that, still seems like a really poor crowd in a big city like that even if the baseball was on
