If you see rules being broken feel free to report the specific posts in which they are being broken. You are treading on another teams board, if you come here and rile up the natives it doesn't make you look very good in my eyes. As a matter of fact the only rules that I have seen broken are from you and they have just been dealt with. If you disagree feel free to use the report post function on the posts that you speak of.

Nobody said he was a great player. Don't put words in people's mouths. He also wasn't compared to Gagner -- he was compared to Hemsky -- saying a Barker comparison was inaccurate.

He still scored more goals then any of the oilers forwards last season lol, he may "lack work ehtic" but hes a pure sniper with potential to hit 40+ goals given he plays with a legit top line C

And there's a damn good chance that Hall outscores him this year.

Wasn't comparing the player I was comparing the signing. They are both reclamation projects. They both have much to prove and if both suck this year Europe may be waiting for them.

Now I know how Islanders fans have felt for all of these years.

Nobody watches the Oilers but they're all experts on their deficiencies.

I find it amusing that a lot of fans around the league seem to be forgetting that this league belongs to the young stars now. It's not a big deal that Edmonton's best offensive players are 18,19,20,21 and 22.

Tambellini has work to do to turn this team around but it's not nearly as dour as some opposition fans think.

the trade offer that annoyed me the most was that Komi and a third rounder for Gagner

Komi will end up being the number 7 d-man on the leafs shortly---

Also--when they say Bozak is better than Gagner---Bo has 59 nhl pts--he is 3 years older than Gagner who has scored 59 goals so far--if Bozak was on the oilers roster right now-he would be on the farm

kessel was 22, leafs best player and the leafs finished 29th

last 4 years the leafs are just 5pts better then the oilers over all

So not sure why leaf fans would be bragging about anything

Belief followed by swift disappointment seems to be an ongoing thing with Leafs fans with regards to Tyler Bozak.

As I said earlier, almost every offensive forward on the Leafs outside of Kessel surpassed expectations last year and now they're overrating every single one of them.

It won't be long before Steckel is considered an "elite" third line centre simply because he plays in T.O.

Uh, no, our injuries and goaltending/D are the reason we've finished last the last two seasons. Primarily the injuries really.

We've had Gagner in the top six before and finished much higher, so to put that on him is stupid.

Oh, if only we had Phil "Rocket Richard" Kessel in our lineup going forward instead of bums like Hall and Eberle. Unfortunately, Burkie would never trade us his franchise player for those guys.

I did a little test awhile ago

On another board the statement was "It hard to go to their(oiler) board with how much they over rate their players" my response was "Now you know how we feel when we come here" can not find my statement anymore--it is there right to delete the post--but I think it is a fair observation--people are amused at how much we over rate our players and under rate their and we are amused at how much they over rate their players and under rate our player. but this is just me.

I am just amused some days

Gotta say, it makes other teams fans look pretty foolish when they come around pretending to know anything about a player, but can't spell his name properly.

"Pure sniper" is a fancy way of saying "sucks at everything except for scoring goals"

Goals are nice, but I like players that can also pass, hit, block shots, win faceoffs, kill penalties or just play decent defensive hockey. Kessel can't do any of those things.

was actually meant as a post to say people can break out at any time but thanks for playing along, connolly is the leafs number one and hes played well recently why write a player off when hes still young as he can still grow.

Since when do any fans feel they are being violated on the OILERS board over an opinion that basically will get flamed for something they believe is 100% correct? Seriously, you don't see me s***ing on another teams board telling them they know nothing about our players.

last few days on the main board there have a few "gang up" on oiler threads where we were called out for not being that knowledgable----did not happen on the team boards happened on the trade and main discussion boards

And we defended ourselves and when we were right on those board they came here to stir more trouble
