It may only be for CSKA-2 (CSKA's farm club) but Kostitsyn did have 3 goals in his teams 6-3 win on Saturday. He then followed that up by scoring 2 more goals in his teams 5-2 win on Sunday.Way to go Andrei.

Thats good to hear. How do you find CSKA-2 stats? I don't speak Russian, but I can get through metallurg.ru
I understand the Kostitsyn isn't in the highest league he could be...but If he scores like 2 points a game or something like this consistently will he be dominating this league...?
At this level of competition is his progress making him one of the better players at his Level...?
\
Thanks

2-3 points a game would make him a good player at that level.2-3 goals a game make him very good.In the last 2 games he has accounted for almost 50% of his teams goals. He is also playing with a few of this next years best draft eligible players.
Dmitri ****ikov
Sergei Shirokov
Nikolai Lemtyugov
Yuri Grigorenko
I also think the reason that Kostitsyn is plating for CSKA-2 instead of CSKA isnt for poor performance it is so he can get more ice time and therefore not hinder his development.
In 2000-01 season, in the same league, with Moscow Spartak, Kovalchuk stats were 25+18 ( 43) in 39 games.
Kovalchuk was 17 YO. Kastitsyn is 18.
If I'm not wrong, the level could be a little bit higher in this league this year than in 2000-01 because there are only 16 teams in the Superleague this year as there were 18 before.

CSKA-2 is technically in the third division, which is a level below the High League.

In a way you are right. The High League is more competitive than the 1st League because it has more veteran players in it.But more players make it to the Super League from the 1st League because it is a developmental league where young talent plays. The High League is either for undiscovered talent or for veteran players not quite good enough to stick with a Super League team.
Players are called up from their farm teams first.Player acquisition through the High League is usually a last resort option.
Is there a place to get farm stats from all the teams?
I need to keep track of Vishnyakov, Sedov, and Glukhov if they're spending any time down on the farm.
And if anyone knows where Vitali Smolianinov is, I'm still looking.

Albert Vishnyakov plays for Ak Bars-2 (farm club).Ak Bars does not track their farm clubs stats. He has played 2 RSL games this year. Here are his stats in those games.
GP-2 G-0 A-0 Pts-0 PIM-0
Alexei Gloukhov plays for Khimik-2 (farm club).Khimik also does not track farm club stats.Alexei has played in 2 RSL games this season.
GP-2 G-0 A-0 Pts-0 PIM-0
Pavel Sedov also plays for Khimik-2.He has been in 3 RSL games this season.
GP-3 G-0 A-0 Pts-0 PIM-0
Vitali Smolianinov does not appear in Russian hockey databanks.Meaning he no longer plays professional hockey (at least not in Russia).
All of these guys are real Longshots to make it to the NHL.If I were you I would try to focus my attention on guys with better potential.
Alexander Polushin is 2nd on CSKA in scoring. His stats...
GP-13 G-5 A-2 Pts-7 PIM-4
Dmitri Kazionov is 4th on Lada in scoring. His stats...
GP-12 G-3 A-2 Pts-5 PIM-4
Anton But is tied for 7th on Lokomotive in scoring. His stats...
GP-10 G-1 A-4 Pts-5 PIM-8

Not very impressive. He probably needs to push for more ice-time and step-up his performance. If he can't dominate on a High League club his prospects for being signed to a RSL (Russian Super League) club are slim and it is hard for one to get onto an NHL roster if they can't even get onto an RSL roster.
Any news or statistics on Denis Ezhov, Denis Denisov and Maxim Sheviev?
Sheviev - Khimik Voskresensk
Denisov - Ak Bars Kazan
Ezhov - CSKA
Maxeem Sheviev is not doing all that great right now.Unfortunately he is playing for a team that is in the cellar of the RSL.1 Win/ 1 Tie/ 11 Losses. His stats.....
GP- 12 G-1 A-0 Pts-1 PIM-2
Denis Denisov is actually doing very well right now.He is tied for 1st in scoring among defensemen on his team.He is on a pace to demolish past years personal bests for goals, assists and points.
2003-04 ..GP-9 G-1 A-3 Pts-4 PIM-6
2002-03 ..GP-50 G-2 A-8 Pts-10 PIM-12
Denis Ezhov is an interesing situation.CSKA was told by an arbitration court that they owned Lada Togliatti 100,000 Euro's as compensation for Ezhov before he could play another game for CSKA.Till this point it doesn't seem that CSKA had paid the compensation or that Ezhov has played a game for them in the last month.
Can someone tell me how Is Dimitry Pestunov(Typo) doing??? I love this kid so much!!,I can't believe Montreal pass on him
Dmitri Pestunov has had an exceptional start to his season for Metallurg Magnitagorsk. He leads his team in goals with 4 and is 6th in scoring for Metallurg. His stats...
GP-12 G-4 A-1 Pts-5 PIM-4
If he keeps this up he may have a chance to make it onto Phoenix's roster next year.
Yeah, thanks, I knew where to get the RSL stats, its the farm ones i need.
-Pete Choquette
Metallurg Magnitagorsk has pages on their website devoted to farm-clubs.Unfortunately it is not updated very often (if at all).I can give you a link to these links and you can check them periodically to see if any sats have been posted.
