Addendum to the earlier report it was Gary Leeman.
Unfortunately there is also a fatality involved that was in the same car as Ramage and reports are suggesting it is also a retired NHLer. So the early reports may yet still be valid.
Bad year for NHL associated guys.

Wow...first it was Igor Grigorenko, who is making a nice recovery...then it was Jon Girard, who is recuperating (luckily), then Dany Heatley and Dan Snyder, and now this...how sad.
My condolences to the family...it's hard to lose someone especially this time of year.

Ditto Roman Lyashenko and Roger Nielson. Terrible year.
Roger Nielson, Herb Brooks, Roman Lyashenko, Trevor Ettinger, the guy from Gatineau(can't remember his name), Dan Snyder, and now Leeman. This has been a terrible 6 months for NHL associated people. There's also been the numerous accidents(Grigorenko, Heatley, Girard). Hopefully this becomes less and less.
TSN is reporting that Rob Ramage was involved in the accident, but is in stable condition. There was one fatality in the accident, but police have not released a name.
www.tsn.ca They have it as the players got into an accident on the way home from the Funeral of Keith McCreary. But they still haven't released the name of the deceased in the accident. Very sad.

The player who was killed in the crash with Rob Ramage was Keith Magnuson. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=64498
A sad day. My condolences to the families of everyone involved.
